Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

L&OD Business Partner overseeing leadership and careers. Strategic career development including building new career pathways, and having accountability for CPD and apprenticeship levy spend. I also oversee strategic leadership development initiatives and support my team to carry these out.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Again, it is early days but so far it is very interesting! I'm enjoying a new challenge

Yes, whilst I have only recently started the programme, it has already supported me to consider new skills and develop existing ones
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very well structured- I received all the dates for workshops far in advanced including all the links, and early on had a thorough structured overview of the programme
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Great support from my line manager to apply, go through onboarding and start on the programme. Overall a lot of encouragement to develop and take up an apprenticeship
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Very well- there are a lot of KSBs I hadn't thought of as being useful, and as I'm only 16 months into this role, it's been really useful to start the apprenticeship to support my development and performance in the role now I've settled into it
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes- social activities within my team, and have attended professional networking events too. There are also multiple networks to get involved in should I wish eg. neurodiversity network, womens network

I've had a great experience working here for 4.5 years, including support to develop into a different role, and development to consolidate my performance in my role, and work towards my next one. I've always felt supported by managers and colleagues
