Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
I work to aid and coach our shift managers by giving them the tools, resources and knowledge to achieve our company wide goals, this includes customer satisfaction, speed of service, food safety and cleanliness on top of many other important things, day to day varies as each manager needs assistance in different areas.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
2/5
The programme is good and insightful for somebody new to the role, however for me I find it quite boring as it is more of a refresher as opposed to learning something new, there are a few aspects where it is helpful as it reminds me of some things that I may have forgotten but overall I am not learning anything new.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
I have learnt the key aspects of people management, as well as managing costs and hitting targets, for myself I work as the food safety lead and I have learnt about many laws and what we need to do as a company to follow those laws,

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
The programme is organised very well, it is clear and easy to understand, as well as those working with me to get the work done are also really helpful, everything is dated and in order, there are deadlines and an easy flow of information, it is very accessible for everyone.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
I get regular check ups from our apprenticeship lead, we sit down and discuss the next steps as often as once a month, there are also often meetups with other people in the apprenticeship in the organisation, where we can all sit down and discuss what we are doing and what works for us.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
My training provider is very helpful, we conduct monthly catch ups where we review the progress made from the previous month, we look at the next steps needed to progress myself and conduct mini quizes to prep me ahead of any examinations.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
It helps me get a better understanding of my job role, and what I can do to better myself, it highlights key focus points of my organisation and helps me to attain those goals.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
There are a lot of activities that can be done, we do football, litter pick events, charity fundraising events, this helps us get in touch with our community and give to those in need.
