Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Managing all aspects of Health, Safety and Sustainability across multiple sites and organisations within the Unipart business. Mainly focusing on Scope 1, 2 and 3 reduction along with maintaining ISO 14001 and 45001.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

very much so, the information is very relevant to the current climate and it relates to my job where I can role it out and improve our business offering and reduce the carbon impact from the business in our drive for netzero

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

yes a number of new skills and experiences including life cycle analysis, sustainable innovation ideas, Economics of sustainability and how they will work and a much broader knowledge across sustainability

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very well structured, everything has been laid out clearly from the beginning, there are some issues with the assignment feedback informaiton in that it is either late on a regular basis but other than that there is no issues, the residiential weeks are very benefical.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

limited support but at the same time I am provided with plenty of time to complete the course and the assignment work that is requried without any questions being asked.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

As much support as requried, the lecturers reply to all question with very quick turn around and adjustments and advice is provided when requried.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It allows me to have a better knowledge and understanding of what is requried and different methodlologies of how to carry it out, it also allows me to develop a number of new skills and improve a number of others.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Limited, there is some professional networking events that I have the opportunity to go to if I want.
