Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
System configuration, team manage and data analysis.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoyed most of the course content, however, there were some small sections of the content that were not very interesting.
The workload was quite intense at times, so I didn't have time to explore some of the most interesting topics to the level of depth I would have like to.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
A large part of the learning involved developing existing skills, but I did also learn some brand new skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Very well organised and structured
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
They provided all the support I needed to excel. I am particularly grateful for the support from my manager.
However, the technical support to get software installed was rather convoluted.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Great level of support from the module tutors.
Apprenticeship support tutor was not always the most helpful and felt like meetings very tick-box exercises.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I have gained confidence in my ability to utilised existing technical skills and capability. Additionally, I feel that ,my communications skills, both verbally and written, have improved greatly.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
No, not really

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Unipart to a friend?
Yes
Why?
I couldn't decide whether to answer yes or no. The are some great people working for the organisation and there are good opportunities for personal development. However, the culture of the organisation is not the best. There is a disconnect between what leaders say the cultural values are and what is actually my lived experience of them. For example, there is quite a blame culture and coloration is limited.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Unipart?
.
