Develop and Implement Procurement Strategies: Create and execute strategies to ensure the best quality products at competitive prices.
Supplier Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, forecast future needs, and place orders to replenish stock as needed.
Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly to optimize costs and availability.
Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff and management to determine product needs and specifications.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all food products meet the organization's quality and safety standards.
Budget Management: Manage the procurement budget, track expenses, and ensure cost-efficiency.

I really enjoyed the course, I felt that filling in the timesheets was a bit of a waste of time but understood the need for it.
