Established in 1851, St Austell Brewery is a proudly independent, family-run business based in Cornwall. We are one of the South West’s leading employers, with over 1,800 team members across brewing, wholesale, and hospitality operations. Our reach includes two major brewing sites, six distribution hubs, and over 180 pubs, inns, and hotels across Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, and Dorset.

We’re best known for our award-winning beers such as Tribute, Proper Job, and Korev, brewed with care and passion. Our wholesale arm supplies our own brands alongside products from the world’s best-known drinks companies. We also have national sales agreements with all major UK supermarkets and supply products to many of the UK’s largest pub operators.

Our hospitality venues are set in some of the South West’s most stunning and iconic locations, from coastal pubs to countryside inns. As a vertically integrated business, we offer genuine opportunities for progression – from front-line operational roles through to careers in central support areas like HR, finance, IT, marketing, brewing, and logistics.

We are proud to currently support 65 apprentices across 19 different disciplines, from Level 2 to Level 7, in areas including brewing, engineering, catering, LGV driving, and business services. We partner with expert training providers to ensure every apprentice receives high-quality, tailored training and gains a nationally recognised qualification.
