I enjoy my apprenticeship as i have learnt a lot of new skills and my confidence has improved a lot since starting this job.

At the start of my apprenticeship I often second guessed myself as I did not have a lot of confidence in myself.With the support i recieved from my colleagues allowe me to find my voice and I then started to trust my abilities more. Adapting to the fast paced nature of the retail industry and trying to understandthe booking systems felt very overwhelming.It took time, patience and questions to find my rhythm and understanding. Not all interactions with customers was smooth, I dealt with complaints and disapointed travellers which tested problem solving skills. However these moments taught me how to stay calm and professional when under pressure. Trying to juggle my coursework deadlines with daily responsibilities in the store was challenging at times but this taught me a lot about time management and prioritisation. Eventhough some parts of this journey were tough, this helped me grow my confidence and have prepared me for the future.
My apprenticeship with TUI Retail has been an amazing journey. This includes being able to develop my customer service skills.
I have had an opportunity to be able to interact with big range of customers, learning how to deliver excellence customer service to help create and unforgetable holiday experience for customers.I have gained in depth knowledge of the travel and tourism industry from being able to understand the different destinations to navigating booking systems and checking travel regulations. Working in a team who are very supportive and understanding has helped me grow professionally and as a person. This has had a huge positive impact on my development. I have contributed to store goals and hit personal targets which has helped boost my confidence. From the start of my apprenticeship to now I have noticed a huge boost in my confidence whether it is speaking to customers or making decisons. This apprenticeship helped me set up skills for life as well as helped build a sold foundation in retail and the travel industry. I am excited for what is next and extremely grateful for everything I have learnt within my job role.

i have recently been recieving a lot of training when working towards my qualifications as i am now at he end of my apprenticeship and needing work to be completed and needing to revise

i feel my qualification through my training provider has been a valuable support in helping me perform better in my role, the coursework has given me a deeper understanding of the travel and tourism industry from customer service and principles to sales techinques and health and safety regulations
