Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
In my current role as Project Manager at the JWMDRC, I support the planning, coordination, and delivery of national and international research projects on rare neuromuscular diseases. My day-to-day responsibilities include managing project timelines, ensuring regulatory and ethical compliance, managing stakeholders, and supporting financial monitoring and reporting. I work closely with multidisciplinary teams, to keep projects on track and aligned with objectives.
I’m also involved in data collection and validation. Through my apprenticeship in Data Analysis, I’m also building on my ability to analyse the data collected, improving how we manage and interpret project-related data.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
It allows me to update my professional skills and stay relevant in today’s data-driven world. I find it rewarding to build a stronger foundation in data analysis, which directly enhances my ability to support my team more effectively. It’s motivating to see how what I’m learning can be applied to real-world challenges in research project management, helping us make more informed, evidence-based decisions.
