Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
Managing and delivering multiple hardware and software services for the customer to ensure that they can complete their work
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Management skills have flourished and people skills have followed suit. This has made me a better professional but also a better person.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Very well structured as there is a Fujitsu internal Early Career's area and also a separate University area. They work collaboratively to ensure that I am getting the most out of my time here.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Way more than anyone else I know. Very supportive and tolerant unlike other courses I have heard in the past.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
1 dedicated day per week to study and complete any university work. Because the day is optional, my employer encourages me to create a clear divide between work and study and ensures that boundaries are set and I am able to say "no"
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
It is very interesting theoretically, but it seems to be more catered towards existing professionals as my course has many experienced managers and a few inexperienced apprentices. Corndel are constantly making improvements and taking suggestions to make everybody's experience better.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Loads of socials, sporting events and plenty of networking events. My cohort meet up on a regular basis.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Fujitsu to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Incredible place to work and it is very flexible in terms of working your own way. I work almost entirely remotely due to my geographic location and this is very much catered for. The progression is great and the opportunities have been endless in my short time at the company so far
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Fujitsu?
Be yourself - 100%. Nobody likes fakers
