Marketing Associate (Degree Apprentice) in London supporting marketing initiatives for fuel and EV services. Responsibilities include campaign implementation, budget tracking, and customer event support. II am a team player with marketing knowledge, good communication skills, and a part in the energy transition.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my journey as a degree apprentice so far. It has allowed me to develop my skills, my overall work ethic and been able to meet amazing people. I am also very fortunate to have multiple opportunities that I have been apart of.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learned and enhanced many different skills in my apprenticeship so far. This includes communication, problem solver, confidence and so much more.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme/degree is well organised. I have been very fortunate to be given a study day for my degree and been able to work with deadlines that have been assigned to me.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I received a lot of support from my employer. This includes weekly calls with my line manager and monthly calls with my training provider.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I meet with my training provider every month. It allows me to ask questions to the degree I am doing and if I need any extra support.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Everything that I have learned in my degree so far I have been able to implement it into my working week.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, I am in a jujitsu club, a part of a apprentice association, a part of a youth club and much more.

Doing a degree apprenticeship is a fantastic opportunity. I get a free degree but also get the work experience which is fantastic.

Research the company, make sure that you understand the role and the degree. Connect with apprentices within the organisation
