Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I'm mainly office based, my role involves the planning and prep behind S&C renewals (rail), but also the follow up paperwork and extras after we finish a job
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoy it to a large extent, there will always be some parts you prefer over others

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I've learnt and developed a lot of new skills, anything from time management to setting out/surveying. I started straight from finishing a-levels so I have lots to learn.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
My start up was a little rough due to my intended university dropping my course at last minute, and I had to follow it up and get the careers team to enroll me into a different university.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive a lot of support, especially from my manger he's very accommodating with my uni workload.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
2/5
Adequate, it's not always great, especially with the OTJ hours and that side of the qualification. My tutor didn't know what they where doing when I first started and has contradicted themselves many times since
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
Understand everything that you don't see first value, e.g. all the mathematical calculations and understanding design drawings.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
No
