Support function for operations, project management, project coaching, problem-solving, lean principles training, data analysis.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The content is good and I thought it worked well covering yellow belt & green belt before moving up to black belt.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Learnt new CI tools which I can utilise on site to support improvements.
Statistical analysis software MiniTab and how to get the most out of it to use on site.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The apprenticeship itself is structured really well until the end of green belt content and then the clear plan stops with Minitab sessions being planned in adhoc
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Premier Foods are very supportive in my apprenticeship, ensuring I get the right support and opportunities to use the new skills I have learnt. They are also flexible with my OTJH and encourage me to do them weekly.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The training provider are a little slow at responding with mixed messages depending which tutor you speak to which can be frustrating, however in the group sessions the support is good with the flexibility to go over content your not sure on/need more support with.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It has given me confidence in my knowledge of tools I already knew about but taught me new tools and analysis techniques to get the most out of the data I have
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Social activities/Christmas Party/Carnival family day etc.
Premier Foods Barnsley is really good for engagement and extra curricular activities if you want to take part.
