To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The job is good, i enjoy working in the office and out of it, there is an early careers programme in the company that is really interactive and really involves me and others like me. It gives me a chance to meet others in my situation and build good working relationships with others all over the company

Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

My work organisation is brilliant and really feel apart of the company. On the other hand the college I'm attending isn't as good, yes i have learned a lot but there organisation is shocking. Teacher doesn't structure the lessons and not too sure he understands how to teach too a online class.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employee is very supportive in the role I do in the company but haven't done much on how I'm coping in my college.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

So I'm with John Ruskin College and they have not organised my class at all well, when I started last year, they hadn't even made college emails for myself or others in my class and that meant I couldn't use teams affectively. The teacher I believe hasn't done much online teaching as he struggles using teams and isn't technically minded. Its not his fault but the college should have given a different teacher to us or even given him a tutorial on it before teaching us.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My role has many different factors in it and my college course is not really much to do with my job role, there are some parts that is perfect for my role in work and others that aren't but gives me a good information that i didn't know. Which I find very useful.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

So yes there is, my work have an early careers programme for all apprentices and they do activities such as online cohorts with other apprentices to engage in workshops together if that is online or in person. There is also volunteering posted every month that I can join in on, and can vary on what I get involved in.

Research on what your looking for, Balfour Beatty is a huge company and have so many different roles that you can do, be prepared to work hard to achieve your goals.
