Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Day to day I am in the office working on new projects, being involved in client meetings, doing training courses and working as a part of a team
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I thoroughly enjoy what I do at the moment, I get to be involved in live projects and actually learn on the job instead of constantly training and I enjoy the team that I am apart of.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt a plethora of new skills some of which are simple thing like understanding excel, how to adapt yourself when at working, interacting with different people whilst others are skills more niche to my job role like using CAD software

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I would say that my programme is well organised in the sense of I get to learn a lot and work with different people but it does not follow a strict structure your plan is based of you as an individual and your goals
How much support do you receive from your employer?

If you need it you can receive an immense amount of support from Balfour Beatty not just from your line manager but from the wider company everyone is happy to answer questions and make sure that you are on the right track. If you require support that is not to with work you have that as well.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I personally received a massive amount of support, my line manager ensured that the work I was doing was tailored to fit the requirements of my professional qualification. I had meetings with people outside of my team who had helped people achieve professional qualifications and even had mock interview to ensure I felt confident enough. Even with reports I had to submit my team was happy to double check them before hand and advise me on what does and does not work.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel that my qualification has allowed to gain a deeper understanding within my role. When it comes to meetings with multiple disciplines I am able to understand what they are talking about more which allows me to ask question I want to know the answer to. It has allowed me to focus on my work from a new perspective.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

At work there are multiple extra - curricular activities there is a community that set up activities for the whole company to get involved with like going to the races, wreath making , paint and sip, charity events, sports and much more
