Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
My role entails creating agenda and steering briefs for committee meetings. I chase teams for papers and then put them together for committee members. I also manage insider lists (filesite management for who can access sensitive information). I also create invoices and send them to firms.
I can get involved in some adhoc work (e.g. looking at survey results on our committees)
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
I somewhat enjoy the programme. The training provider (kent univerisity) recently have been quite poor in delivering training with late releases of exams and incorrect scores being distributed.
BoE is a great place to work, everyone is lovely, however in my role, I don't apply anything to my role and there is no concept of being in a rotation either, so apprentices have had to push to get involved in work thats linked to our training.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
Yes, like using MS 365, AI, teams, outlook, communicating with different stakeholders

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
as explained in the previous question - university of kent have been quite poor recently, where they have released course works and exams late, released the incorrect results, been inconsistent and not very supportive and what they ask for in the exam.
on the BoE side, there hasn't been as much of a structure as we only have 1 role for all of the 4 years. Apprentices have had to actively push for secondments or work that involves more economics.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
the employer is really supportive
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
2/5
as described above, recently the support as been poor where lecturers have provided limited guidance and support on exam material
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
1/5
very limited, my role and training aren't linked
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
yes there are lots
