Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I work in the Sterling Markets Division at the Bank of England. Day to day work includes completing operational tasks, publishing data to the external website and testing system changes.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoy my programme a lot. The information is always presented in an engaging way.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Communication, team working, influencing and presentation skills to name a few have all been developed in my current role.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Very well organised. Information of how the course is structured is shared well ahead of enrolment and it shared frequently during the course also.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My employer supports me a lot. I am given a day off a week to complete my studies, whilst also offered help during work if I have any questions.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
A lot of support is offered by the training provider. We have a full day workshop once every two months, a 1-2-1 with my tutor every month and a quarterly catch up between my course tutor and work manager.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
My role isn't directly linked to my course, but it still helps. I'm sure the knowledge will come in handy in the future, potentially in a different role to what I'm in now.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes there are always extra-curricular activities to get involved in. I am personally part of the running club and the divisons social team.
