In my role as an Entry Level Talent Coordinator, I support early careers talent, including apprentices, graduates, and interns, helping to make their experience as smooth and positive as possible. I assist with tasks related to our Learning Management System (LMS), such as keeping training records up to date and helping with learning resources. I also help prepare materials for careers fairs and attend events to support our team and speak with potential candidates.
I'm also part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) committee, where I contribute to projects that aim to give back to the community and reflect our company values.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I’ve really enjoyed being part of the programme so far. It’s given me the chance to learn a lot, meet new people, and get involved in a variety of tasks. I especially enjoy the parts where I can support others and see the positive impact of what we do on apprentices, graduates, and interns.
There’s always something new to get involved in, whether it’s events, projects, or committee work, which keeps things interesting. It’s also been rewarding to feel like I’m developing professionally while contributing to the team in a meaningful way.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, I've definitely had the chance to build on existing skills and develop new ones. Supporting early careers talent has helped me improve my communication and organisation, especially when coordinating activities and responding to different needs. Working with our Learning Management System (LMS) has helped me get more confident with digital tools and data accuracy, while preparing for and attending careers fairs has developed my confidence in presenting and speaking to new people. Being part of the CSR committee has also given me experience working on cross-functional initiatives, and it's helped me understand more about how businesses can make a positive impact outside of their core work.

Overall, the programme is well-structured and provides a good foundation for learning and development. There’s a clear sense of what’s expected, and I’ve had support and guidance when needed.
There’s a good balance between day-to-day responsibilities and opportunities to get involved in wider activities like events and committee work. While there’s always room for small improvements, especially as things naturally evolve, the structure has helped me stay focused and feel supported in my role.

I feel well-supported by my employer. There’s always someone I can go to with questions, and my team has been approachable and helpful from the start. I’ve had regular check-ins, guidance with tasks, and encouragement to get involved in different areas, which has really helped me build confidence.

I receive a good level of support from my training provider. They’re available if I have any questions or need clarification, and they check in regularly to track progress and offer guidance.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel that the qualification supports my role by helping me build a stronger understanding of key concepts and practices that I can apply day to day. Some of the topics align well with what I do at work, which makes the learning feel more relevant and useful.
It also encourages me to think more critically about how I approach tasks, manage my time, and communicate with others. While not every part of the qualification links directly to my role, overall it adds value and gives me a broader perspective that helps me grow professionally.

Yes, there are a number of extra-curricular activities available at work. I’ve had the chance to get involved in things like the CSR committee, which has been a great way to connect with colleagues while contributing to meaningful projects. There are many staff networks available.
