5/5
The people I work with are friendly and supportive, always providing guidance on how to better improve my work and assignments.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have developed technical skills and knowledge on hardware repair.
I have a deeper understanding on the importance of logging changes and how AAA is implemented across a network.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
Though the company is good, the UNI modules were useful and aimed at what I wanted to pursue. Though a lot of the networking modules didn't challenge me. It just felt like a test of memory rather than knowledge. You could simply memorise the question banks and pass.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
There was a lot of support available from the apprentice manager at the company
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
The tutors at the UNI provided ample support throughout the course.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
It has allowed me to start on the correct foot when interacting with networking kit, and understanding some terminology. Though, they only focused on Cisco equipment, it would have been more beneficial to show alternative hardware or configurations with companies such as Unifi, Juniper, Palo Alto etc.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes, there are opportunities to get involved in things such as football games, badminton sessions, lunchtime games of pool, after work events, and much more.
