Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am a project manager working who is currently finishing off a level 4 engineering apprenticeship. I help to bring in work for the build to print department in production and oversee the projects of these from beginning to end and look after all involved.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have had to find the right balance between work and personal time, once I found that balance then it wasn't a chore, it was fun to discover new skills and how they fit into the work place. I enjoyed it because the support at Capula has been there for me too.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt new communication skills, active listening, presentations skills and more about leadership. I have also learnt about forecasting and about actual costing of projects. I have been learning a lot of new project management techniques and problem solving techniques such as root cause analysis.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is all very well structed and accessible at all times, my assessor has always made himself available if i need him and so have the learning and development team at Capula. The programme has been easy to follow.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

The support I get from my employer is incredible, I can't thank them enough. The learning and development team are always looking out for my best interests and so are the wider team. Even the directors congratulated me when I received an award! That meant a lot to me.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I couldn't ask for anymore support from the training providers. The whole experience for me was wonderful, I have no regrets in taking up further education and I would promote anyone to do the same if I knew they were going to have the same experience as me.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Its helped to build my confidence up when approaching certain tasks with the workplace and its helped me decide where I want to proceed in the future, which is more education!
