Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am electrical apprentice undertaking day to day repairs and working void property’s in which we may do some installation work or do general maintenance. We liaise with tenants and other colleagues in our day to day role.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the programme a lot and it has helped me grow in the industry.

The programme is very organised and well ran, anything material or information related we needed has been provided and any help we may need has also been provided.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

We receive a lot of support during my apprenticeship by my employer, Anything we need is provided and they make sure they do the best they can to get us anything we may need.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

We relieved really good support from Bolton college, our work based tutor made sure anything we needed was provided.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The training provided has helped me towards becoming a better electrician and being competent in the work place.

Yes we have lots of volunteering work and lots team bonding activities.

Wythenshawe community house group have been amazing throughout my apprenticeship anything I needed has been provided and they made sure I achieved everything the best of standard. The work life balance is brilliant and it would recommended working her to friends.
