Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role involves dealing with internal and external communications. We deal with media inquiries, PR positioning and internal views/politics. This involves: setting up meetings with stakeholders, research, attending agency meetings, writing and sending emails, enhancing my proof reading skills and learning how the business works
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy the programme - I am learning so much that previously wasn't available to me. Every day is a new learning opportunity.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes - I have learnt about the financial markets, and the effect geopolitics have on them. I have learnt the importance of EQ in Comms, while also developing my Microsoft skills. I have also leant the importance of attention to detail in this role.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Really well structured - when we first began we were all given a detailed induction which were followed by mini talks given by people all over the business which guided our understanding. I meet with my apprenticeship manager regularly and my line manager 1-2 times a week. I am always supported by them and other apprentices.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Lots of support, resources are always available and my team is always around to help me.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Although my qualification is in marketing (and im in comms), I do find it helpful and im able to implement things i have learnt at work.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Be yourself in the interview process and always have questions as there is always so much to learn
