Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

As an apprentice in the digital design you get given lots of little things to build your knowledge up like with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D. My day to day at the moment is checking that designs are up to the the correct standard.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the apprenticeship as I've met lots of new people and made some good friends. The work you get given at the start can be challenging but not to hard so you can get it completed and everyone is willing to help when you get stuck.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

The skills I have learnt are AutoCAD which is a 2d cad system, revit which is a 3d cad system and just learning civil 3d which is a mixture of 2d and 3d. With this the college course helps top up the knowledge every week.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The apprenticeship is structured well as when you join Severn Trent take you to do an induction week down at Coventry which involves going to the main office and an out of bounds day.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

You get given lots of support from Severn trent from your line manager and new talent.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

LSP is the training provider for the digital design apprenticeship. They give us good support but sometimes the teaching is a bit off and feels like you don't learn a lot.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Some of the knowledge from the college course does help with the work like foundations and pipe networks.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes there is, they also do fund raisers for charities.
