My role is within the income team at Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust. I deal with raising invoices, reporting contract data for reimbursement from NHSE.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy it a lot, the theory side paired with the practical working is a nice combination.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes I have, my communication skills & professionalism has improved drastically. Along with my software skills, for example Excel & Access.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Its very well organised, I get my 1 day study day every week at roughly the same time. Course dates are provided in good time to plan around these
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive lots of support - they encourage me to take study days & don't contact me with work related stuff when on the study days.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Plenty of support in relation to resources. Sometimes find it hard to contact them though.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

By understanding the basics of bookkeeping a lot more & spotting mistakes with accounting transactions, whilst understanding the ethics behind it all.
