Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Every day is different and the collective apprentices on this cohort are all exploring different areas of the work we undertake. We examine devices to support investigators in their efforts.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The people within the department and training programme are wonderful and extremely patient and helpful whenever we struggle with anything. The work is demanding yet gratifying that we know we are assisting in important situations, to protect the public and individuals to the best of our ability.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

New skills are always being found and existing ones developed, no case is ever the same which presents a welcome challenge to resolve.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The training side of the programme is well structured, we know all the dates in advance.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

They are extremely supportive as employers and ensure our wellbeing is maintained to the best of our abilities.

The trainers are wonderful and are always available when needed to support us as needed.

We have access to all the different manners to extra-curricular activities available to full-time staff and officers that we can join as we like.
