Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Assisting in recuriting patients for research trials, contacting study teams and collecting samples to send to different labs and study teams.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am enjoying getting to know my fellow students and professors and I really enjoy learning and discussing what I have learnt with members of my team

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt how to do academic writing and improving my confidence in my abilities. It has also given me a better understanding of my job role and apprication for how my role helps other people.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

I think it is a well organised programme considering it is brand new and the websites are easy to follow and upload work needed to pass the degree.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive lots of support from my mentor who is my manager. Tracy Whale from the apprenticeship team has been amazing in supporting me during difficult times of my apprenticeship. I have regular meetings with my mentor to discuss how I am gettinh on and if I need help.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My professors are very approachable when I need them and always willing to help. The student support team have been amazing when I have been in contact with them and my success manager has been very helpful and supportive towards me and my goals
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It has made me think about my job differently and improved my knowledge and skills so I now feel more confident helping my patients and team memebers
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are different clubs and networks but I do not currently attend these.
