Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

In my role I sell holidays with knowledge of destinations and resorts, this is cruises, beach holidays, multi centre trips, 3rd party systems. I also work in the travel money where I follow regulations and stay compliant
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

This programme was one of the best decisions I have made, I have gained confidence in myself, increased my problem solving performance, gained knowledge on multiple destinations all over the world and gained close friendships with the best colleagues.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have, I have gained confidence and communication skills within my role. I have also learnt of the many regulations of what what goes into holidays. I have spoken to my customers and gained knowledge of their experiences abroad and tips about certain destinations.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very structured and organised, my mentor has made every process throughout my coursework and the lead up to my final tests easy as possible.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from my employer, she has always made herself available and on hand whenever I need help and always their to support on my apprentice days.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I am given alot of support, this is with meetings and check ins on teams.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I have gained further knowledge of how the industry is as a whole and not just at TUI. Learning about many routes, destinations, tine zones.. This helps me in my role to become better informative.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
