Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Support management and colleagues with various tasks including PowerPoint presentations, excel modelling, and provide meeting preparation.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Relatively, could have been given more, also more finance oriented responsibilities. Sadly this internship lacked training which was something i looked forward to signing the contract. However, the final case presentation was very thoughtful

Yes. Particularly within finance and how to understand a company. Also I have improved my work morale and discovered what I enjoy.

At the beginning limited since more general training was required, then I received more from colleagues

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
It was good. However, you can notice that people are tired and lack sleep in their daily routine. But when energy was back on track the culture was great

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I really enjoyed the internship. However I could have benefit even more from more training, and also having another intern present so we could navigate through the new stuff together

What advice would you give to others applying to J.P. Morgan
To always aim at remaining a positive attitude. It will help you get through daunting task and long-days. But for the ones eager enough, it is a fantastic workplace with a lot of benefits. Only thing that could improve is the work to life balance :)
