Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I sell holidays, ring customers to help them with what they want to do or go for their holiday. I make suggestions based on what they have done before, I also do my apprenticeship work out of office sometimes. I take calls from customers to try and help them with their needs.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
I do enjoy what I am doing but I dont think it's something I would carry on with after my apprenticeship is completed just because I don't like weekends and I feel as though I get put down a lot.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have learnt to sell holidays and improved my pre existing customer sales skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
It is well organised apprenticeship work wise but when it comes to physical work, I dont feel like the support or help is there. Rather than feeling like I should be asking for help, I just feel like im a nuisance by my work colleagues.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
A decent amount but not as much as I thought I would be getting.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
I get a lot of support from them when it comes to my work, they are constantly giving me help to improve my work to make sure it's of the best standard possible.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I think it gives me a good amount of knowledge especially when it comes to destinations and where the best places to go are depending on the season and so much more.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
No but I wish there was. The only really extra curricular activities there is is the training days based on different topics.

Yes
Why?
Overall I think it depends on the person, If they like working weekends and are good with the general public then I would say it's a good job for them but if they arent those things I would not
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to TUI UK & Ireland?
I would probably just say make sure it's right for you
