Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

In my role I sell package holidays, flights and holiday extras. I also work in the foreign exchange in store. I also help customers with check ins and holiday planning.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy all parts of my programme, from doing my job and also completing my course work and calls with my assessor. everything has been very straight forward and i have learnt so much in such little time

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

one of the main skills i have learnt is selling in foreign exchange, dealing with different currencies and learning the rules of what can and cannot be sold and the security measures in place

How well organised/structured is your programme?

i think my programme is very well organised, my assessor is great at working around my rota and shop illness for our calls and doesnt overload me with work and doesnt stress me to complete the work set.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from my employer, i am given the time i need to complete my tasks and calls when they are scheduled

my training provider gives me a lot of support with working towards my qualifications and helps me with any questions i am struggling with

i feel that my qualification is helping me in my role as it is giving me more learning opportunities and more experience that helps me with my role

there are not many extra curricular activities in my work but there are some networking events that we are able to go to to learn about different providers

i would recommend tui as my apprenticeship has been an amazing experience, everything is made simple for me to follow and i am given the perfect amount of time to complete my work in store while still learning how to exceed in my role
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to TUI UK & Ireland?
make sure you take the correct study time to complete your tasks and do not rush them all last minute, focus on learning all parts of the job and up your skills
