Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am a level 3 room leader at busybees and have worked there for nearly 3 years. My role is to care and protect every child and give them all the best start in life. All children are treated equally and with love.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoyed my apprenticeship when I started as I had great support throughout from my team members aswell as my assessor who helped me with all of my coursework and assignments.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

My confidence has increased massively as I have learnt to communicate with parents and new people. I remain in a professional manner in all situations and have outstanding safeguarding skills as well as first aid and health and safety.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It was very well organised, I had clear assignments set each month and when completed I would have a face to face visit with my tutor to discuss my progress and work on my weaknesses.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I get help whenever I ask for it from my manager and other staff in my setting.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I recieved lots of support at work and online when submitting assignments.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It opens up new job opportunities and allows you to take up new roles within your setting.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We have staff meetings every month and every so often there are staff appreciation sessions.

Start in level 3 if possible and level 2 is not needed as much.
