The university course is engaging and career specific, plenty steps are taken to assure that you meet and exceed the requirements set for you. Work life is rotation based with plenty of opportunities to move between roles.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

The apprenticeship team are always there to assist you with your needs, on a day to day basis, my line manager or university skills coach provides plenty of support should I need it.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Working alongside my project manager I am able to request extra time if assessments are due at university, they are usually very understanding of the pressures and expectations and are very willing to work with you on them.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Usually, it is the reverse, whereas I have learnt the on the job experience and knowledge, then it is reinforced by the content covered at university, giving you confidence when you approach certain modules.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We operate a sports and social club that all members are encouraged to get involved with, it allows us to get access to other experiences at a discounted rate. University based extra curricular activities are also encouraged in order to meet people within your age group.

Good working environment, usually quite understanding, exciting roles on offer, great benefits.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to CGI?
Be yourself and be confident in your interview answers, research the company and show that you're willing to learn in your field and that you're passionate. Good teamwork/leardership skills is worth having too.
