The program covered a broad range of topics, including child development, safeguarding, health and safety, and effective communication with children and parents. I found the in-depth learning about child behavior, planning learning activities, and supporting children's emotional and physical well-being especially helpful.
The balance between on-the-job experience and classroom-based learning was ideal. The apprenticeship allowed me to apply the theories and knowledge I learned directly in a childcare setting, which greatly enhanced my practical skills.

the Level 3 Early Years Apprenticeship was a rewarding experience that provided me with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to work effectively with children in the early years sector. The program could be more streamlined in terms of support and workload management, but it offers excellent career development for those passionate about early childhood education

The coursework, while challenging at times, pushed me to develop my understanding of early years education and improved my critical thinking. The qualification has definitely opened up more opportunities for career progression in the early years field, allowing me to take on more responsibility and potentially move into roles such as a senior practitioner or room leader.
