As an EDS CAD Engineer apprentice at JLR, I learn and practice CAD skills, routing wiring harnesses. I join internal and external team meetings to discuss projects and progress. I rotate placements, conducting verification testing on prototype builds, programming CAD processes, and using virtual reality for innovative solutions.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I've thoroughly enjoyed my apprenticeship at JLR, learning new skills, networking, and being part of such a dynamic company. The experience has been rewarding, and I can't wait to move around the business and learn even more. This journey has truly fuelled my passion for continuous growth and innovation.

I've mastered CAD (3dx programme), VBA programming language, and IC.IDO VR software. Enhanced my communication and teamwork skills while gaining corporate expertise in project management and problem-solving. My apprenticeship has made me proficient in innovative technologies and strengthened my ability to collaborate effectively in professional environments.
