To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
This apprenticeship has brought me out of my comfort zone and given me an opportunity to see the real world of corporate work, whilst gaining a qualification. The onboarding process was so smooth, everyone has been welcoming and I feel that I am becoming much more competent day by day. Every day I am presented with so many opportunities to learn and grow as a person. I feel very lucky to have been given the opportunity to work with NWG.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Since my apprenticeship began I have already noticed a huge development in my knowledge, professional and personal skills.
My time management and prioritization skills have drastically improved. I am learning to act on my initiative and act with accountability. My communication style has become more professional, and I am overall more confident and assertive in everything I do.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Very well structured - very smooth onboarding process, smooth transition into the next stage of my apprenticeship. College tutors / assessors provide lots of support in terms of future plans, and what the next 18 months hold for me. There is lots of transparency and a clear focus.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
The ATA have provided lots of documents and details around my apprenticeship - my apprenticeship coordinator offers support whenever I have a question.
NWG have been so welcoming, they take pride in catering for the emotional wellbeing of staff, and I really feel a warm presence from mentors / managers who have helped me so far.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
My college offer support around the clock on teams, they are incredibly helpful and have provided lots of useful information to help me succeed with my assignments. The whole process so far has not made me feel hesitant or stressed, as they have given me all the tools I need to succeed.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I am able to make direct links from my workplace to the assessment criteria in my college assignments. I deal with lots of general helpdesk queries so I have insight for all aspects of HR, which is helpful when gathering examples and experiences to relate to college. I can easily apply my knowledge from college lessons to the workplace too.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
There are lots, we use viva engage to form communities and groups, there are running events, team days, sports & social club, in-office gym and more.
