Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
Making decisions on a range of set work for Universal Credit. This could involve phoning claimants, deciding effective dates, checking evidence and looking for further evidence.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
Really enjoy it - I have a mentor, who is really supportive, gives great feedback and answers any queries I have.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I was previously a teacher so this apprenticeship has helped transfer my skillset across and plug any gaps. It has meshed really well with my current role and helped support me in the new role I am in.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Well organised, easy to follow tasks as they are broken down into a monthly basis. I aim to keep in front so I can have breathing space when I am recalled into extra training etc. The short videos support the learning and the quizzes make it interactive too.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I get a day off every week for course work, I ensure I fully use that day to complete tasks and work my way through any further tasks.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Loads of advice, I have regular a check in and also get advice via emails too.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I feel it will help a lot as it supports my role now with the learning themes, it links really well to my current role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
social activities and competitions etc.
