Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Assisting customers regarding travels, insurance, trips and more.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I have had no problems, since joining 7 months ago. There is a lot of support for me if I require it, and I feel I have developed fairly quickly since joining too.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Since this was my first job, and having no experience prior. I have learnt a range of universal skills both on the job and the apprenticeship. It was a great course for me, which aligns with my future plans of being a commercial pilot

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Within a few weeks of joining I met my apprentice coach who discussed my program with me and an overview regarding it. Additionally my manager has set me up quickly with my job role too.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Whenever I ask for feedback, I am given constructive advise onto how I can improve my work. Additionally I am often praised and noticed when I achieve accomplishments both on my apprenticeship and in my job role. I've never been in a moment where I lacked guidance
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
My apprentice coach is always in regular contact with me, and I can ask her anything regarding my apprenticeship and I will receive the support I require to do well. I haven't been in a position where I felt unsure about my training
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
The course teaches me alot about the legal side and the background of the role,. It is insightful to learn more about the lesser known aspects regarding the job. Additionally, as I had no previous travel experience the course has taught me a lot of key information regarding travel, for example travel trends, weathers etc
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
There are often events I get notified regarding on teams, for example educational trips. And I can also enroll myself onto further maths and English training in my apprenticeship.b

Yes
Why?
I have had no problems since joining, and I feel I made the right choice coming here. I am always supported, and the team around me have embraced me joining and appreciate my contributions
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to TUI UK & Ireland?
Research the company prior to your interview to link in the values of TUI to the interview questions. And don't feel like you have less of a chance if you're less experienced, as that was not the case for me.
