I answer queries related to how we can optimise our crew rostering, report on KPIs monthly to ensure we are in line with our target and make dashboards to improve the data visibility present in our company.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have really enjoyed expanding my skills/ knowledge of key concepts related to my job role, and having a wider toolkit available to address to address my daily tasks.

Python skills have been developed since starting this apprenticeship, and I am more confident in how I can apply the Python I have learnt to my role to optimise my own performance.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

TUI do a great job at giving me my protected time to study and engage with the content. At the beginning, they could have been more clear in how often I would be required to go down to Exeter to engage with my course content in person
How much support do you receive from your employer?

TUI is great at giving me my day a week to study and never interrupt me. I feel very supported while engaging in my apprenticeship.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

While the communication is always fast, I do think that they do not give a lot of notice in terms of when I need to book time out of work to attend important talks related to my degree apprenticeship.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It has expanded my confidence in tackling data analysis queries that I previously would have shied away from. Additionally, I am able to tackle a wider breadth of questions.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, there are numerous social activities to engage with individuals outside my immediate team who share your interest including reading groups, running groups. Additionally, as a team we have team days once a quarter to engage with others in a fun and supportive environment.

I thoroughly enjoy working here at TUI, the work-life balance is great. Additionally, I feel very supported in achieving my career goals and often have talks about what my next steps are to achieve the next progression in my career.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to TUI UK & Ireland?
TUI is a place that fosters collaboration, make sure that you have that team player attitude to join the team.
