As a Digital Content Delivery Executive, I am responsible for creating and managing TUI's marketing and lifestyle website pages, including the development of product landing pages and discover articles. I work on the design and delivery of engaging content, ensuring it aligns with our brand and user needs. Additionally, I assist with the migration process from our old content management system to a new one, ensuring smooth transitions. I also provide insights and suggestions for improving page templates by conducting competitor analysis and exploring new opportunities to optimize the user experience.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I’ve really enjoyed my apprenticeship programme as it has provided me with invaluable opportunities to grow both personally and professionally. I’ve had the chance to meet new people, work alongside talented colleagues, and develop key skills that are shaping my career. One of the highlights has been the unique experiences, like traveling on a cruise ship for work in my first month, which has been an unforgettable and exciting part of the journey. This programme has truly allowed me to expand my horizons and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

In my role as a Digital Content Delivery Executive, I have developed strong skills in website content creation, particularly in building marketing and lifestyle pages. I’ve gained expertise in managing product landing pages and discover articles, honing my ability to deliver engaging and user-friendly content. Through assisting with content management system migrations, I’ve also strengthened my technical skills in CMS platforms. Additionally, I’ve developed a keen eye for improvement by conducting competitor analysis and offering insights on how to enhance page templates, refining my problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.

The organization is very well-structured and organized, offering a clear framework for success. There are multiple sources of support available, whether through dedicated mentors, team leaders, or various departments. This structure ensures that I always have access to guidance when needed, and the collaborative environment makes it easy to get the help and resources required to excel in my role. It’s reassuring to know that support is readily available, helping me to thrive in my apprenticeship.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive excellent support from my employer, who is committed to ensuring I have everything I need for my career development. From regular feedback to tailored learning opportunities, they make sure I have the right resources and guidance in place to succeed. This support has been invaluable in helping me grow professionally and feel confident in my role, knowing that my career progression is a priority.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider also offers large amounts of support ensuring that the structure and briefs for assingments are very clear and that they are available to support us throughout.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My qualification is highly beneficial to my performance in my role. all of the assignments we complete are based on situations happening in the workplace, allowing me to apply my theory to the real world.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are so many opportunities for extra-curricular activities at my work. We have employee network groups available for people to join and feel supported by like-minded colleagues. I have set up a 5 a side football team and an employee network group. Which has really given me the chance to take part in activities outside of work.

I would definitely recommend TUI to a friend! It's such a great place to work because of the friendly and supportive environment. The company is really inclusive, making sure everyone feels valued no matter their background. There's always support when you need it, whether it's from your team or management. Plus, if you love to travel, TUI offers amazing opportunities to explore new destinations, so you get to combine work with your passion for adventure. It's an overall fantastic place to grow professionally while enjoying a healthy work-life balance!
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to TUI UK & Ireland?
If you're thinking about applying to TUI, my top tip is to be yourself! The company really values authenticity, so it's important to let your personality shine through. It's also a large company, so I’d recommend having an open-minded approach and being adaptable as you settle in.
