Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Standard trainee tasks in each department as well as being able to sit in on client calls with everyone from trainees to partners. All of the work was well explained and feedback was provided on everything I completed.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
Very interesting. I had talks with lawyers in different practice areas of differing seniority. They could talk about the responsibilities at each level in the firm as well as the ambitions and vision of the firm in the future.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
Yes, I learnt a considerable amount about each practice area (given we only have one week in each). I also learnt more about the documents each team deals with as well as having to manage time for deadlines, vacation scheme talks & vacation scheme tasks.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. Even in a larger team I was able to meet most of the lawyers who all had time to chat with me.
