IT Project Support Undergraduate Review

Usually, I would be involved in testing new release for one of Honda's apps, working with Pre-production vehicles and various mobile devices. I would also assist with day to day operations of the app, and communicating with suppliers to provide the best quality solution for various issues.

I had a large amount of responsibility with quality assurance and testing. I was able to implement my own ideas and was responsible for enforcing them. However, the responsibility I was provided never overwhelmed me, and was very enriching.

I have developed IT skills around testing, app releases, project management, and data analysis.
For soft skills, I have further built on my presentation skills, my professionalism, my confidence and my attitude to difficult tasks.

I was surrounded by a very supporting team, who wanted to see me succeed as I went through the placement. I was able to ask questions without any pressure, but was also allowed opportunities to learn different areas through guided experience.

The company is very inclusive and treats undergraduates the same as normal employees. Colleagues are very supporting, and there's always a nice buzz in the office.

I very much enjoyed my placement, and was very happy with my choice. I would happily work for the company again. I learned a lot of new skills, and now feel more motivated than ever to carry on with my degree.
