Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Rotate around different teams, so it is dependent on the team. But given responsibility and am there to support the team overall.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It is quite enjoable but stressful when rotations come around, as there seems to be too many graduates/apprentices to rotate to worthwhile teams. But understand that this is part of the economic climate but it is a struggle. It is also dependent on the team, some teams I have really enjoyed while others have not been great.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, have developed a range of new skills. In my last rotation, it was very helpful to hone my excel and powerpoint skills. Tailoring advice to a specific client and taking responsibility for different jobs. With my new rotation, I am learning new skills in valuation.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is quite well structured, rotations are 8 months but have now turned to 6 months. Do not think there is enough support for the APC.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Dependent on the team. Feel like current team, there is wider support but within my core team there doesn't seem a lot of time to sit down and teach me. For example, I've asked the same question to a few people and still have not got an understanding of it. So really dependent on the team that working in. Early Careers team seems stretched for resources but have not interacted with them a lot.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Training provider does provide support. We have a call with our AOO every couple of months and that is helpful to see where you are at. We have to send our APC and OTJ diary to them also. They also do sessions on APC competencies which is good.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It has given me a basic understanding of many concepts at work, such as core/core+ properties etc and how a DCF works. So there are many upsides to it but do not get an indepth understanding, just a general overview that aids with work.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes - there are many extra-curricular activities to get involved with. My work has many sports team such as netball and rugby to be part of. There are many networking events and social acitivites. I am part of many committees at work. I do not think this is lacking in my workplace.
Recommendations & Advice
Would you recommend JLL to a friend?
Yes
Why?
It has a good work atmosphere and the people on the whole are generally nice. The pay could pay better but on whole am satisified.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to JLL?
Look up the company, make sure you know the core values and what company stands for. Make sure you then apply these core values to every answer you have. I made up many practice questions to make sure I was prepared. Make sure you know the questions - Why this company? Why this graduate scheme? etc
