Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
Manage complex inbox / diary of Director of Corporate Governance. Provide secretariat support to Board Committees. Manage CEO budget. Manage Non-Executive Directors including induction, annual checks and fit and proper persons. Small amount of project work.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
I enjoy the programme but it is hard to balance an extremely busy job with the demands of the course.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
Learned more knowledge but difficult in the busy role I have to be able to apply. Trying to carve out time to shadow on new projects other teams working on.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Good structure and help to learn in groups. I tend to learn more from doing / applying the knowledge, so key for me is carving out time to start to undertake more project work.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
They support as much as they can, but it's an extremely busy NHS Trust and the demands of the job come first.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
2/5
I'm only fairly new to the course so don't feel able to answer this yet.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
The knowledge will really help once applied. The qualification is an added bonus for future career.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
N/A
