Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

As part of the graduate scheme, I rotate departments every 8 months. I currently sit in Property & Asset Management, where my role involves: managing tenant relations, lease administration, overseeing maintenance and repairs, etc.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my programme very much. As a non-cognate graduate, I am undertaking a Masters degree alongside my job which feels very difficult sometimes. But I am confident that it will be rewarding and is steadily developing my knowledge and skills.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I am developing a range of skills, such as time management, communication, co-ordination, client relations, etc.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is fairly organised/structured. One criticism is that the frequency of rotation periods has changed a lot in my time; it will be switching to 6 months from September which I don't think is long enough to gain the right amount of experience.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

It is very team dependant, I have been fortunate that my previous 2 teams have been very supportive and accommodating of my programme. One criticism I have is that the Early Careers team aren't always responsive to communication.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider (UCEM) are very good in providing resources and offering workshops and support to keep developing my skills and gain the right requirements in order to work towards my qualification.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I would certainly say that through modules that I have studied on my Masters degree (such as valuation, property transactions, planning & development, property management) has enhanced my knowledge in my day-to-day job role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, my company do offer extra-curricular activities to get involved in at work. It is slightly team-dependant rather than central, but it is adequate enough.

Why?
The culture is very good at JLL, I believe that company is forward-thinking and very inclusive/diverse which provides a comfortable working environment where employees can thrive. I very much enjoy working here and think it is one of the better real estate firms.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to JLL?
Be comfortable and be yourself, I feel very valued as an individual at JLL and hope that others feel like this. I would also advise others to be very curious and ask questions, as a non-cognate I didn't have prior real estate knowledge. However, I have tried to make up for this by asking lots of questions and trying to absorb lots of knowledge from experts around me, which is often appreciated as it shows enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
