2.4/5 - Structure and Support

Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Maintenance of properties within portfolios - dealing with service charge, arrears, rent etc.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
I enjoy the workload etc and being able to move around teams every 9-12 months to learn something new.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
People speaking skills, valuation skills, writing properly

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
Structure could be better as I feel sometimes apprentices are misunderstood/left with tasks to do. Instead of actual training structure I am left with tasks to do with my team. Not necessarily a bad thing but often joining a team is difficult because of the learning curve.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
2/5
Support is good at times however some unrealistic expectations exist.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
2/5
Support for qualifications is good as I am allowed a study day each week. However if I need to crack on with certain assignments I often can't move study day.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
Definitely helps the other way round more so than anything
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
Social event committee, football, run clubs. Turnout for most things is pretty bad at the moment due to unknown reasons across the entire company.

Yes
Why?
Yes/No. Good for qualifications and structured apprenticeship but sometimes the support isn't there and some of the people are difficult.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to JLL?
N/a
