Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My daily tasks consist of seeing a patient in the morning and the afternoon. I take their history, apply the monitors for the test, and monitor the recording, and report it afterwards. I also stock up the clinical rooms and carry out any departmental tasks if needed.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I really enjoy my programme, I feel really supported by my training provider, and know that I can ask any questions if I am unsure about anything.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Yes, I improved by critical thinking skills, analysis skills and time management skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
My first semester was really organised and I really enjoyed it, however I feel like one of the units this semester was slightly unorganised, and lessons were scheduled last minute sometimes. More exam support is needed for the specialist unit, such as practice MCQs
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I feel absolutely supported by my employer, and they have created a comfortable environment in which I can learn and grow, and be open and honest about mistakes, or things I am unsure about/
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
I receive lots of support from my training provider, however I feel like more information about how and where to submit my clinical portfolio is needed, and more information about the clinical portfolio should be given, such as a virtual lesson talking about what should be included etc.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I am able to apply my knowledge learnt through my training provider to my clinical roles.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
There are networking events available, however I feel like an event specific to my job sector would be really helpful. It is difficult as most networking events take place during the working week.
