Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
About every quarter I rotate between different teams within the Finance/Accounting Department such as Bank Reconciliations, Cashiers, Credit Control etc., so I have the opportunity to receive a very varied on-the-job learning experience.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I enjoy most aspects, I feel very supported by all the staff at JLL.
There's just one aspect I'm not very fond of, which is the apprenticeship paperwork, the minute tracking of every bit of learning and the specific wording/structure I must use for the EPA.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learned a lot not just about accounting, but also about property management and how they work together.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
I think it's fairly well organised, I know what my schedule is going to be for the rest of the year.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
All the support I can ask for. JLL has a strong "don't be afraid to ask for help/any questions" culture.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I am allowed to dedicate a whole day towards studying/classes every week (it's paid). Sometimes I need to attend two classes in a week and they are okay with that.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I appreciate that the qualification helps put into bigger perspective the work that I am doing and conceptualises every term and action. It makes communication much easier by streamlining it.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
There are a lot of extra-curricular activities available and social events; anywhere from charity runs, football, Christmas team dinners, scavenger hunts etc.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend JLL to a friend?
Yes
Why?
I can see myself working here for many years. Despite being a huge company they've been able to build a positive and healthy culture and I think that's very hard to achieve. The life-work balance is very good and their working conditions are also very flexible as they offer remote work.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to JLL?
I think it's a place worth applying for and I recommend working here. Core values such as compassion/understanding the other person's position, attentiveness and communication skills, as well as motivation to learn will be the personal qualities I suggest cultivating.
