My role is getting involved with my mentor him explaining full detail on how to do jobs correctly. With helping out customers when I can. Company and mentor have been massive help including SkillNet themselves with providing me with train travel down to college, aswell as accommodation.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy it a lot, with meeting some great people and learning life long skills. With a workplace like Motus,
Some things I would say with the college block, is shortening it I don’t feel it needs to be the duration it is. But that is only bad thing can say about it. Would also be good if food was improved at hotel.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, learned how to safely progress with handling tools. And understand different size sockets and wratchets
With learning how to do brake pads and discs on my own. Aswell as doing an inspection on my own, other jobs I have been doing many of is cam shafts. I have gotten very good at them with getting a good understanding how all works

Very well construed never had any problems always get sent tickets on time never had no problems at all. Very organised.
Always treated well and when we go down college all food is paid for. When down at college aswell as at hotel.
If have any questions always can ask certain people to ask and always good response.

Their is lots of opportunities at the company, with them being well established and everyone at the site, are very kind and understanding willing to help you if you have any questions. Just deep down good bunch of people. With many doors open for opportunities to work and expand role wise in company
