Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Ensuring we are following processes effectively and efficiently, taking the correct deductions off hire invoices, justifying every aspect of hire from deployment of hire at the start to the recovery of the hire at the end.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my role greatly. I can manage my own workload, there is not a ridiculous amount of pressure to get my work done - we are not micromanaged and can be left to get on with the work needed.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt how much of an impact every stage of the hire process has on the recovery of the costs from the third party insurers. I have learnt how much attention to detail is needed and the criteria of each process.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is fairly organised. There is an issue of communication between managers and QA always get left out of the updated required, and what we do affects the handlers ability/our workload so if we do something wrong, there is usually a communication issue.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

A great deal. I am a military spouse and my work have been very accommodating when it comes to childcare/deployments - my work is very flexible as well which is an added bonus. I can take time out to address mental health concerns when needed
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

A lot! My tutor is amazing and i am learning that I can turn to her for a lot of things. She is very patient and we seem to get on well.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

IIt is opening my eyes to the full impact that my role has within my company. Have only just started my apprenticeship but already I am learning so much which will help me in my career progression

We have several groups for varying things - I am a member of a mental health support group, parent network, chill out space.

Supportive, flexible, open doors so can talk about anything, decent pay

Be open and honest. You cant get the help needed if they dont know what is going on.
