Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Daily, the focus of my apprenticehsip is collecting research for my On The Job hours. This is mainly solo work, and I'll speak to my tutor once a month to update her on how I'm finding the course, what there is to improve and if I need any further support
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoy doing my program. Since my work is typically slow otherwise, it gives me something to fill in that time at work whilst also developing existing skills/learning new ones.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I've developed my skills in social interactions, how to handle guests and how to find the best information possible about any queries they may have. I've also developed skills in housekeeping so that I can work comfortably on more shifts, as well as generally improved my skills in solo work.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
My program is very well structured, everything feels consistent so it's easy to stay within a routine. It doesn't feel like anything is dumped onto me at the last second, or that my work is too much.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
2/5
The amount of support I recieve from my employer is slightly lacking, however I understand that this is generally due to him working on his own apprenticeship and still training as hotel management.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
I receieve a good amount of support. I think she is consistently pushing me in the right direction to get the things I need to do done, and I usually know exactly what I should be working on.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
It pushes me to better understand my role and develop new skills that'll help me not just in this position, but in any future role I may take as well.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
I'm usually in charge of organising our site's charity events, or helping to set up things that'll imrpove guest satisfaction.
