I work in sales in the wholesale sector, my role is predominantly account management, managing customers that sit within the Unitas buying group and National Buying Consortium. Involves a lot of travelling to see customers and building relationships, lots of sales conversations and all round good experience.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the program I am on, most of the criteria on the apprenticeship is directly linked to my everyday job which is helpful.

I am better at influencing peoples decisions and leading conversations and all round better at selling.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very organised, have 9 modules to do one by one as you progress through the year they get unlocked for you to do so very structured.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

A lot of support provided, colleagues act as mentors and no questions is a stupid one.

Always on the end of an email or Phone call, 1 to 1 coaching sessions monthly.

As I mentioned the work directly ties into to day to day activity so backing up your learning.

I get involved in a lot of professional networking events, such as trade shows and awards dinners, and social events with work also.
